Sea Change Pattern

Newfoundland and Labrador is well known for its rich and varied marine environment which inspired this pattern, which uses value changes and contrast to create a quilt with a bright, nautical feel. Piecing and appliqué are used to create a sense of transition and movement in a representation of the North Atlantic and the beauty and complexity within it. We've provided four different options for the appliqué elements, all representing marine life from intertidal zones to deeper waters. The pattern includes full-sized tracing templates, placement guides, palette information and instructions for the piecing and appliqué. The quilt finishes at 45" x 45" and the skill level is Easy.
