"Baccalieu Tickle" Throw Quilt Pattern

In Newfoundland English a "tickle" is the straight between an island and another island or the mainland of Newfoundland. This quilt is an homage to Baccalieu Tickle, one of the province's richest marine environments and fishing grounds. The lighthouse depicted on the quilt once stood at the northern end of Baccalieu Island. This youthful quilt has a pieced background and appliquéd elements. Full sized tracing templates are included for use with fusible appliqué. It finishes at 75" x 50".
